Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson born on 27 March 1970. She is 5' 9 tall. is an American actor who is famous for her portrayals in the role of her character of Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's TV show Lost and also as FBI agent Erica Evans on V. Her films include such as The Santa Clause 2 The Santa Clause. Gia as well as The Escape Clause. Mitchell is currently co-starring in Eric Kripke's show Revolution, which airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell, her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell are both attorneys in Dallas. Mitchell along with her mother relocated to Dallas Texas in 1970 where her mother married Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell has a degree from Booker T. Washington High School, a magnet public school that focuses on the performing and visual arts. She is the middle of three sisters the others including Kristina Katherine Day Kate Mitchell and Kristina Kristie Mitchell, and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991 she graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked during six years with the Dallas Theater Center and a one-year stint at the Encore Theater. The actress is currently known for playing Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the CBS crime show Criminal Minds. In a June 2010 report, her part on Criminal Minds will be diminished for the 6th season. Brewster's character could have quit the series in March 2011.
