Sasha was transgender when she began her high school years. Sasha was not a smooth transition and was unsure if with the help of his family and music Sasha would be able take it on. Jim and Sasha who are both writers have been formally forming a couple and are performing at open mics and various other venues in the area. The coaches of the Voice stayed clear of discussing Sasha's history, but Jim revealed his personal story with an introduction clip before the performance. Sasha first started playing guitar when she was just six years old. The pair discussed their music tastes as well as shared their stories about the first time they met. Since his father is an expert music teacher Sasha was more at understanding the concept. Sasha was born female and struggled to find his own identity while he was a kid. In an Instagram post, Sasha recently spoke out about his difficulties. Then, Jim overcame with emotion as he explained why he couldn't be a participant in those difficult circumstances.
