Annaleigh Amanda Ashford, an American actor and singer. Tony Award-winning actor Annaleigh Ashford is a veteran of her professional career working with highly acclaimed actors and directors in stage as well as television. Ashford will next be seen with Kumail Nannjiani, Robert Siegel's Hulu Limited Series Welcome to Chippendales premiering November 22. Ashford's upcoming project involves Searchlight Pictures horror thriller Dust which he is starring in with Sarah Paulson and Ebonmoss-Bachrach. The film is scheduled to stream on Disney's DTC platforms and will be available as a Hulu Original. Ashford returns to Broadway on March 20, 2023 where he will star alongside Josh Groban opposite Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. The production is located at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The same team that created Hamilton production Jeffrey Seller and director Thomas Kail is at the helm of the production. Ashford played Paula Jones, the main actor in Ryan Murphy's brand new FX series American Crime Story Impeachment. It's based on an incident that took place in the United States, involving Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp and other major character. In two seasons, Ashford played a prominent role in the critically acclaimed CBS comedy B Positive. It was developed by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. The actress has also appeared on Broadway with her roles in Sunday in the Park With George Wicked, Legally Blonde as well as in the initial part of Lauren on Kinky Boots for which she was nominated for an Tony Award. Growing up in Denver Ashford now splits her days between Los Angeles and New York.
